I have no choice other than writing this AliExpress Review. I am a frequent online buyer of cheap Electronic Components. And I buy regularly from Ebay and Banggood. I have been listening about AliExpress for a sometime now. And I thought of giving it a try. Suddenly something wrong happened with me and here I am writing this AliExpress Review about my worst experience!
So it all started when I was searching for a regulated power supply module on Google from my Mobile. I stopped by a Google Adsense Ad. It said $100 discount on AliExpress. Wow! It sounds lucrative, right? Yes I was carried out by the ad, it was too good to be true.
I was too happy to see the ad. I thought, this is the best offer for me to consider buying from AliExpress. And I needed the power supply too! So, I clicked the link quickly and I landed on the AliExpress Promo page where it claimed that upon signup I will get a one time new buyers’ discount coupon worth $100. So, I was sure that the Adsense ad was legitimate. I happily shared my email id and other contact details and signed up on AliExpress. Well, my email id got verified in the process. When I completed the verification, the browser took me to a page where I was asked to download the AliExpress Mobile App from Android App store. Wait, this was not in our contract, right? The landing page didn’t tell me that I need AliExpress Mobile App to avail the offer. This is where the betrayal of AliExpress started. First time I realized AliExpress is nothing but a Chinese Company. And we all know what Chinese are best at!!!

I still proceeded and tried to give it a try. $100 is not a small amount. This discount is worth giving a try. I downloaded the Mobile App and logged in to my account on the Mobile App. Ah! I started writing my AliExpress Review in mind. I see a message that I need to purchase worth $1400 or more to use the discount coupon of $100. That’s what you claimed on the Landing Page bloody Chinese? I hated and hated and disliked AliExpress like nothing else in the world, for a moment. I realized it will be little too much to proceed with this cheater Chinese company and buy something for my project. So I closed the app and slept for the night.

The next morning was a new one. A new start. I wanted to give AliExpress the final try. I knew, I am not buying anything worth $1400 so the coupon is not for me. I wanted to pay the whole for what I am buying. So, I order total 6 Electronics Kits and parts worth $18 point something in total. I opted to pay with anything but my Credit Card but later had to choose Credit Card. In the process, the orders were placed and marked unpaid. So, I had open 6 orders individually (well, I thought, I order for 6 items) and pay them with my Credit Card separately. My card was charged and the order status change to paid. I was happy again.
What went really bad thereafter
An hour later, I received a mail from one of the item’s seller. He said he didn’t receive the payment, thus can’t ship the item. I was so surprised to hear that. I reopened AliExpress and send message to the seller that I paid in full. After that I discovered that all of my orders are ‘Closed’. I was really new to such an order status. Well, what’s the reason. The website only said ‘For Security Reason’ my orders are closed. Then I had to connect to the Customer Service of AliExpress to discover that I just now did a fraud. I was using a coupon which is not valid for existing buyer. Where did I use a coupon? When did I become an “existing buyer”? I don’t have an answer so far. All I have is this long chat transcript, which I had with the Customer Service afterwards.
I spent meaningless half of an hour with these 3-4 ladies to discover that AliExpress is a cheat and I must write a AliExpress Review. I would not insist, but if you wish you can read the chat transcript below. It is copied as is from the chat window. Some of my words might need reader discretion.
